The tests

Two tests. One scale.

00 / Listen

A prompt plays
once. Then
you speak.

Every question is heard, not read. It plays once through your headphones, a beep marks the start of your answer, and a second beep ends it. The next question follows by itself.

01 / Speak

Forty answers,
six parts,
twenty minutes.

Short answers first, so the microphone and the nerves settle: give a short answer, repeat the sentence, answer questions about a conversation and a passage. Then retell a story and give your opinion.

02 / Write

Ten Writing
Tests,
typed.

Six sections in about 65 minutes: typing, sentence completion, dictation, passage reconstruction, email writing and paragraph writing. No microphone; the camera still watches.

03 / Measured

One score,
one scale,
one report.

Answers are transcribed and scored 20–80, then mapped to CEFR bands A1 to C2. The report shows the overall reading and the supporting measures behind it.

04 / Proctored

Quiet,
from start
to finish.

One photograph at the start, then presence checks. The test runs fullscreen, and every warning is visual and silent so nothing lands in your recording.
